These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of construction and remodeling services (“Services”) by Hart & Home LLC (“Contractor,” “we,” or “us”) to you (“Client” or “you”).

1. Scope of Services

Hart & Home LLC provides residential construction and remodeling services, including new construction, home additions, and renovations throughout Tennessee.

2. Client Engagement

All projects require a signed written agreement before work is scheduled.
A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required upon signing to secure a project slot in our construction calendar.
All projects follow a structured Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) covering proposal approval, material selection, and scope confirmation.

3. Promotional Offers – Design Services

From time to time, Hart & Home LLC may offer complimentary or discounted design services.

Complimentary designs apply only when a construction agreement is signed.

If a client chooses not to proceed, a design fee may apply to cover the design time and resources.

All designs remain the property of Hart & Home LLC until the client enters into a signed construction agreement.

Promotional offers are subject to availability and may change at any time.

4. Payment Terms

Payment schedules are outlined in the project contract and depend on project scope and duration.
Failure to pay on time may result in suspension of work until payment is received.
In cases of non-payment, Hart & Home LLC reserves the right to file a lien in accordance with Tennessee law.

5. Warranties and Guarantees

We stand by our workmanship with warranties of up to 15 years, depending on project type.
Manufacturer warranties for materials will be honored as provided.
All warranty details are specified in the project agreement.

6. Limitations of Liability

Hart & Home LLC is not responsible for:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Delays caused by weather, supply issues, or client-driven changes.

Project disruptions resulting from client non-compliance or scope changes made without approval.

7. Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall first be addressed through mediation. If unresolved, parties may seek further resolution under the laws of the State of Tennessee.

8. Licensing and Insurance

Hart & Home LLC is:
Licensed and insured to operate in the State of Tennessee.
Covered by general liability and workers’ compensation insurance to ensure full protection for clients and crew.

9. Termination or Cancellation

Clients may cancel within 3 calendar days of signing for a full refund of the deposit.
Cancellations after this period may forfeit the deposit.
Hart & Home LLC reserves the right to terminate a contract due to breach of agreement or non-payment.

10. Subcontractors

We may engage qualified subcontractors for portions of your project. Clients will be informed when subcontractors are involved.

11. Privacy & Communications

Personal information (name, email, phone number, address) is used solely for communication and project-related purposes, in compliance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

Hart & Home LLC may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and take effect immediately upon publication.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
